Maguire and moderator Bob Mann. Readers can also explore the 50th anniversary of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire during a special book club session led by Dr. Gary Richards.

Family Activities and Culinary Demonstrations

The event offers plenty for younger audiences, including a Halloween costume contest, interactive games at Teen HQ, and appearances by Louisiana Reader’s Choice Award winners. Food lovers can enjoy live cooking demonstrations and talks by celebrated New Orleans chefs, including Chef Toya Boudy and Chef Dook Chase.
