Manship Theatre Announces Annual Red Carpet Gala
The Manship Theatre in downtown Baton Rouge will host its annual Red Carpet Gala on April 16, featuring a special performance by Grammy-winning artist LeAnn Rimes. The gala serves as the theater’s primary fundraiser and supports its year-round arts programming.
Jason Langlois, executive director of the Manship Theatre, said the event plays a major role in sustaining the nonprofit venue and helping it bring unique performances to the Capital Region.
The evening will include a fully catered reception from Mansurs on the Boulevard, an open bar, and live entertainment. Guests will enjoy a menu that features upscale hors d’oeuvres, buffet selections, and late-night espresso martinis.
Intimate Performance Highlights the Evening
The highlight of the gala will be an intimate acoustic performance by LeAnn Rimes. The show will feature Rimes performing alongside a grand piano and guitarist in a stripped-down format designed for smaller venues.
Langlois said the Manship Theatre’s 325-seat space creates a unique concert experience that audiences rarely find in larger venues.
