The Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) proudly announces its 2026 Business Excellence Award recipients. For eleven consecutive years, LABI has celebrated local industry leaders who drive economic growth, develop local talent, and strengthen communities across the Pelican State.
Recognizing Louisiana’s Top Business Leaders
LABI named Phillip May, CEO of Entergy Louisiana, as Executive of the Year for driving economic expansion while protecting ratepayer interests. The Ascension Chamber of Commerce, led by Donnie Miller, earned Economic Development Partner of the Year after spearheading transformative local projects.
In workforce development, the Louisiana Parole Project received the Workforce Innovator of the Year award. The nonprofit successfully reintegrated over 700 individuals into the workforce through housing, skill-building, and job placement. Meanwhile, Lafayette-based jewelry manufacturer Stuller secured Manufacturer of the Year for advancing industrial technology on a national scale.
Celebrating Outstanding Companies and Visionaries
LABI highlighted two exceptional companies this year. Financial consulting firm VGraham earned Company of the Year (under 100 employees), while engineering firm DDG took home Company of the Year (over 100 employees) after a endorsement from an industry competitor.
