Crouere noted that Moreno inherited significant fiscal problems from the previous administration but has already pointed to improvements in budget stability, infrastructure, and declining crime during her first six months in office. At the same time, both commentators stressed that cooperation between city and state leaders will be essential for New Orleans’ long-term recovery.
