Crimestoppers Urges Public Help in Madison Allen Case and Other Ongoing Investigations Across the Capital Region

Search Continues for Missing Zachary Woman

As 2026 begins, Capital Region Crimestoppers is asking the public to help bring answers in the disappearance of Madison Renee Allen, a Zachary woman missing for more than two years. Allen last contacted her family on Nov. 29, 2023. Since then, investigators have worked through conflicting information that slowed progress early in the case.

Recently, the Zachary Police Department partnered with the Community United Effort Center for Missing Persons to renew awareness. As a result, Allen’s family placed a billboard at Airline Highway and Hanks Drive offering a $5,000 reward for information. That reward is separate from Crimestoppers and remains active.

Why Small Details Can Make a Big Difference

Over time, people often assume investigators already have their information. However, Crimestoppers officials stress that even small tips can move a case forward. In many investigations, one overlooked detail provides the missing link.

For that reason, Capital Region Crime Stoppers encourages anyone with information to come forward. Tips stay anonymous and go directly to law enforcement. The goal remains simple: reunite families or finally give them answers.

Theft Investigations Ongoing in Iberville Parish

Meanwhile, Crimestoppers continues to assist the Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office with several theft cases in the Rosedale and Grove State areas. Stolen items include boats, firearms, and generators.

Because of these incidents, officials urge residents to secure vehicles, lock homes, and avoid leaving firearms unattended. Additionally, neighbors should watch for suspicious behavior and report it quickly.

Wanted Suspects and Safety Concerns

Crimestoppers is also searching for Melvin Coleman, 30, wanted on a charge of battery of a dating partner. In addition, the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office seeks David Darcy, 32, who faces burglary charges and 19 counts of violating protective orders.

Domestic violence situations often escalate. Therefore, Crimestoppers urges anyone with information to call 344-STOP or submit a tip through the P3 Tips app to help protect victims and the community.
