Brian, identifying as a conservative, appreciated the event’s focus on community-driven efforts. He likened it to a “big tent” that encompasses various ways the community can come together. Mayor Broome agreed, highlighting that the event would provide an opportunity for residents to share ideas and develop actionable strategies to create safe, vibrant neighborhoods. She believes that strong neighborhoods are the foundation of a strong city and community.
A notable feature of the event will be a historic mayor’s roundtable discussion, where Mayor Broome will be joined by the mayors of Baker, Zachary, Central, and St. George. They will discuss the role of strong neighborhoods in building a robust community.
