LABI’s Lauren Hadden joins us to talk about the special session that was called by the Governor to address the insurance crisis. She says that the special session will be focused on funding an incentive program to depopulate Citizen’s, which is a last resort insurance, and incentivize insurance companies to come to Louisiana and stabilize the market. We also discuss the details of the incentive program such as which insurance companies would benefit from them, and the timing of the session.
