Ashley Anderson Lewis joins the show and is giving us an update on BASIS Mid City. The charter school has seen a great retention rate for students, which Ashley says is a good sign that children and parents are happy at the school. She also discusses some of the challenges returning to school from a pandemic perspective. One of the greatest challenges being faced is the fact that children who are just now going to school for the first time, despite them being in third grade.
