John Kay from the Pelican Institute joins the show for the first interview of hour three. Amendment One did not pass in the recent election and has led to a massive lawsuit. The National Taxpayers Union Foundation, the Pelican Institute and the Goldwater Institute have teamed up to represent one small Arizona-based business to challenge Louisiana’s sales tax structure. These different businesses find some of the taxes from Louisiana are unconstitutional. Kay believes that there is a world where more lawsuits are filed by other companies.
