Time for our weekly Crimestoppers segment. Sean Joffrion from ICARE joins the show. Joffrion is the Director of Fine Arts at East Baton Rouge Parish School System. Joffrion is on the show to discuss what school faculty members can do to help young students and their individual mental state. To help the community, they are hosting a ballet and desert focused community event in December. Any child from EBR is eligible to be a part of the event. As long as you bring a toy and a canned good, which will be donated to those in need, you may attend the event. For those who want to get involved, go to www.EBRschools.org, go to the Fine Arts section and they will accept anything you are willing to provide. It could be a toy, it could be food, they have an “open door” policy.
