District Attorney Hillar Moore is on the show to introduce us to Melanie Fields and Renae Craft. Craft is the Executive Director at Capitol Area Family Justice Center. Fields is the Assistant District Attorney in East Baton Rouge and the Section Chief of Domestic Violence, she is also an author. Brian talks to all three of our guests to discuss the horrifying and record-breaking domestic violence and domestic homicide numbers. The guests talk about all the things their respective divisions are providing to survivors of domestic violence and are announcing that they are going to be providing on-site survivor support groups. Brian asks our guests what the biggest impediments are for their program. DA Moore stresses that this is only growing and that this is having catastrophic effects on future generations, witnessing it all.
