Stephanie Cargile w/ExxonMobil 09-02-2021

On this segment Brain talks with Stephanie Cargile from ExxonMobil about their efforts to get fuel out to to gas stations in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida.

“It’s ExxonMobil’s priority is to ensure our Fuels Terminal has gasoline and diesel to meet local emergency responder and community demand. We have inventory on hand to continue to supply the terminal, and we anticipate meeting local needs,” said ExxonMobil Baton Rouge Refinery Manager Dave Oldreive.

ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge Refinery has a fuels terminal that produces 517,000 barrels of fuel per day. Over the past nine days, the fuels terminal has provided more than 230,000 barrels of fuel, enough to fill more than 1,200 truckloads or more than 9.5 million gallons of fuel to Southeast Louisiana.

“As we face the aftermath of this storm, we are committed to do our part to meet the region’s energy needs as we work together in the recovery effort,” said Oldreive.
