Dr. Kelechi Iheagwara, the Director of the Pediatric ICU with Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital joined us today to talk about the rising number of children that are being treated for acute Covid-19.  She explains why the delta variant attacks younger people and when parents should bring their child in and what symptoms could occur when a child catches COVID.  Finally, she talks childhood obesity and certain pre-existing conditions that could lead to a bad response to Covid-19.  Hear the full interview here.
