State Health Officer Dr. Joseph Kanter was on the show today to talk about the high number of hospitalizations due to the Delta variant of Covid-19. He explains why the numbers are so high and how hospitals aren’t struggling with ventilators, it’s more of a staffing issue. Then, Dr. Kanter talks vaccination numbers and whether or not the state is improving it’s vaccine number.
