Dr. Christopher Austin Talks About Cara The Python 7-9-21

Dr. Christopher Austin with LSU’s Museum of Natural Science was on the show to talk about Cara, the 12 foot burmese python that escaped from the Blue Zoo at the Mall of Louisiana, and was recently found.  Dr. Austin says that if Cara had started roaming the mall, she would’ve posed no danger to humans but could harm small toddlers if it constricted it.  He breaks down the reasoning as to why Cara went up in the wall and how she would’ve fared if in Louisiana weather if she escaped the mall.  Hear that and much more from Dr. Austin here!
