Valarie Hodges Talks Social Studies Curriculum 6-24-21

State Representative Valarie Hodges was on the show to talk about the Social Studies Steering Committee.  This would allow the state to adopt new curriculum that would teach civics in classrooms.  This would help students understands their blessings as well as responsibilities of living here and understand the history of our country.  Valarie talks about BESE’s role in this possible curriculum, which could possibly eliminate critical race theory.  Hear the full interview here.
