State Senator Rick Ward was on the show to recap the legislative session. Senator Ward talks about some different infrastructure plans for the state and which ones will be prioritized with the infrastructure dollars. He says that a large amount of these dollars will go to rural roads and bridges, which in very important in the state of Louisiana. Then, he discusses federal dollars and how that money went into planning some of the infrastructure bills. Also, he explains how a medical marijuana bill ultimately turned into infrastructure and the unorthodox path it took.
