State Treasurer John Schroder was on the show to talk about unclaimed property checks across Louisiana. Schroder says that they will mail over 33,000 checks to residents throughout the state. Every year the Louisiana Department of Revenue shares current and correct addresses for the sole purpose of returning unclaimed property.
