Christy Smith was in studio to explain the importance of BR Soldier Outreach. BR Soldier Outreach is a non-profit organization that raises money to send care packages and other supplies to soldiers that are overseas. BR Soldier Outreach is actually hosting Spring Fest tomorrow afternoon. Spring Fest is just one of the many events that BR Soldier Outreach holds. It contains local vendors who are selling a variety of food and personal items, with the proceeds helping raise money for care packages for soldiers.
