Toni and Josh McCallister stopped by today to discuss how Louisiana’s forestry industry is struggling.  With five hurricanes this past year, and an unprecedented freeze last month, could have impacted the industry.  They explain that while the weather certainly played a factor, it was the Covid-19 shutdown that most negatively impacted the industry.  They explain that production went way down during the heart of the pandemic which means limited money was brought in.  They discuss where the industry is going and how it can get better.
