Matt Watson Talks About Running For Mayor


Councilman Matt Watson has officially announced his run for mayor and he joined us today to talk about his campaign.  Matt says that he decided to run because he enjoys solving problems and Baton Rouge has plenty of them, including the economic development of North Baton Rouge and lowering the overall crime rate.  Then, Matt explains what the current administration is handling these issues and he talks about his plans to solve these issues if elected.  Finally, Councilman Watson discusses his background and why he is qualified to be Mayor of Baton Rouge.  Hear the full interview here.

Brian Haldane

Brian started in radio in late 2004 as a part-time board operator, but “made his bones” in the business a year later when Hurricane Katrina struck, catapulting him into a full time position covering both news and production of live broadcasts.
