There Will Be No Sports Betting In Louisiana


Why did the sports betting bill not pass?

For today’s sports segment, Brian Haldane sounded off on the legislators inability to pass the sports betting and fantasy sports bill.  Brian gets heated, raises his voice, and complains about the legislative session for failing to pass sports betting.  While red in the face, Brian explained that the sports betting law would have provided Louisiana with more tax dollars.  Hear the full segment here!

Brian started in radio in late 2004 as a part-time board operator, but “made his bones” in the business a year later when Hurricane Katrina struck, catapulting him into a full time position covering both news and production of live broadcasts.
