A writ to SCOTUS

Kevan Brumfield was sentenced to death for the ambush murder of BRPD Cpl. Betty Smothers in 1995… The crime occurred in 1993. His latest appeal says he’s “intellectually disabled.”  The EBR DA’s office has now been forced to file a writ with The Supreme Court of The United States to vacate this ruling so the execution can proceed.  DA Hillar Moore went through the process on AM Baton Rouge.
