Franz Borghardt Talks About A Possible Settlement With Alton Sterling’s Family

Attorney Franz Borghardt joined the show today to talk about the city council’s proposal to pay Alton Sterling’s family $5 million to resolve the family’s civil suit with the Baton Rouge Police Department.  Franz explains why such a large amount has been proposed and whether or not the $5 million will be payed out or if the family will settle for something less.  He breaks down how the voting process will work within the council and why the number is 5 million and how that number was decided upon.  Finally, Franz explains what goes into determining how much money a person will receive in a settlement, which could include the current social issues that our country is facing.
