Crimestoppers With Don Coppola 6-18-20

Sergeant Don Coppola with BRPD was in studio for this week’s Crimestoppers segment to talk about two men who attempted to steal an ATM machine after stealing a truck.  These masked men were not successful in their attempt to obtain the ATM but are currently still at large.  Then, Don discusses the arrest made in the murder of Courtney Lee and the man who was arrested for a hit and run involving a motorcycle officer, which came from a Crimestoppers tip.  He also recaps the arrest of the man who fired an officers weapon in WalMart and was caught in Indiana.  Finally, Coppola provides info on some wanted fugitives and first up was Jeffery Cavalier, who is wanted for battery of a dating partner and simple kidnapping after he went to his girlfriend’s work, put her in his car, started beating her up while he was driving and then returned her to work.  Next up is LeRoy Douglas, who is wanted on the charges of domestic abuse, child endangerment, and second degree battery.  LeRoy showed up at his significant others house and once an argument began, he punched her in the face multiple times with 4 small children in the house.  If you have any information on these fugitives, call Crimestoppers anonymous tip line at 344-STOP.
