Sergeant Don Coppola was on the show for this week’s Crimestoppers segment to talk about BRPD adjusting to phase 1 of re-opening. Don says that BRPD has been operating this entire time, however, lifting the stay-at-home order will allow Crimestoppers to receive a lot more information regarding crimes in the area. Then, Coppola breaks down some fugitives that are wanted by law enforcement. The first suspect is Josh Douse, who repeatedly punched his girlfriend in the face while she was driving until she lost consciousness due to an argument about losing money at a casino. Next, Robert Martin is wanted out of Livingston Parish after attempting to steal a lawn mower. He is wanted by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office on the charge of theft. Finally, Don previews the upcoming Crimestoppers podcast and when it will be released. Hear the full interview here.
