Mayor Broome Talks EBR Medical Capacity


With the Coronavirus spreading throughout the Baton Rouge area, there has been a large number of people being admitted to hospitals.  Mayor Sharon Weston Broome was on the show today to talk about East Baton Rouge’s medical capacity and how much remaining space is available in the area medical center’s.  Mayor Broome breaks down the number of Coronavirus patients in the hospital and she talks about the amount of remaining space in the medical facilities.  Then, the mayor explains how Baton Rouge is finding ways to support the small businesses in the area.  Hear Mayor Broome’s full interview here!

Brian Haldane

Brian started in radio in late 2004 as a part-time board operator, but “made his bones” in the business a year later when Hurricane Katrina struck, catapulting him into a full time position covering both news and production of live broadcasts.
