Senator Cassidy Talks Coronavirus Bills

Senator Bill Cassidy joined us today to discuss the Coronavirus relief bills.  Cassidy says that these bills have 3 phases, 1 of which has already passed for 8.5 billion dollars.  Phase 1 provides funding for state and local health agencies, phase 2 offers assistance to individuals and businesses that might be negatively impacted by the Coronavirus, and phase 3 will provide funding for those who need more money and begin to change some of the regulatory environment.  Cassidy tries to determine when these bills will be passed and he explains the steps that the federal government continues to take in order to get through this virus.  Hear the full interview here.
