The Re-Zoning Of The Sherwood Forest Country Club Was Denied

The Planning and Zoning Commission denied the re-zoning of the former Sherwood Forest Country Club.  Councilman Scott Wilson joined us this morning to talk about what went down at the meeting.  Scott says there was a lot of response from residence in the area because a lot of that area flooded in 2016 and they do not want 260 new homes built there because it is bad for flooding as well as traffic.  Wilson discusses the importance of all these residents showing up to voice their opinions and what’s next for the vacant area.
