Election Talk With LABI

Stephen Waguespack from LABI joined us to talk about who they have endorsed for the different election races.  Waguespack talks about how LABI invited all the candidates for Governor in for an interview and heard good things from Ralph Abraham and Eddie Rispone which is why they decided to endorse both candidates.  He says that incumbents Billy Nungesser and Jeff Landry who hold the positions of Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General respectively received LABI’s endorsements because Stephen said that they were very pleased with the job they have done so far.

For the first time in a while, the race for Insurance Commissioner is one of the more talked about races during this election cycle as incumbent Jim Donelon and fellow republican challenger Tim Temple are in a dead heat.  Waguespack talked about how LABI interviewed both candidates and based on the answers they heard, they felt more comfortable with endorsing Jim Donelon.  In regards to Agricultural Commissioner, Mike Strain was the perfect choice to endorse.
