Harold Kim Talks About Louisiana’s Legal System

The 2019 Lawsuit Climate Survey ranked the state’s and Louisiana was 49 out of 50.  The U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform’s COO Harold Kim joined the show today to talk about how the survey was conducted.  The survey was conducted by The Harris Poll and they questioned business executives about the fairness and reasonableness of state court systems.  This survey is important because 89 percent of business leaders say a state’s lawsuit climate impacts important company decisions such as where to locate.  Kim goes into more detail about the survey and explains what these results mean for the state of Louisiana and why our state is ranked at the bottom.
