Jonathan Holloway Is Running For Assessor

Jonathan Holloway is running for Assessor of East Baton Rouge and was on the show to talk about his candidacy.

Who is Jonathan Holloway?

Jonathan practices law everyday and does a lot of successions and property issues.  He actually ran for State Representative in District 101 around 10 years ago, so he is familiar with the way a campaign works.

Why is Jonathan Holloway running for Assessor?

The way Jonathan practices law puts him in touch with the Assessor’s office from time to time and he felt that he would be a good fit for the position.  Holloway says that he plans to be more transparent on what the Assessor’s office is collecting.  He also wants to improve and modernize the office to take advantage of technology in order to more accurately assess taxes and property value.

Jonathan also talks about the major improvements that he hopes to make and how he wants to have a transitional team that is dedicated in order to help the office run properly.  Hear the full interview here!
