Dave Cohen On Flooding In New Orleans

WWL News Director Dave Cohen joined the show to talk about the flooding in New Orleans yesterday.  Dave says that the flooding was minimal and that the city’s new pump system helped alleviate most of the flooding in the area.  Cohen explained that the levee is what the city is mostly monitoring because with the amount of rainfall expected, water could potentially top the levee system.  However, Cohen said that the Corp. of Engineers is very confident that it will be a non-issue.
