Barry Keim Talks Tropical System

State Climatologist Barry Keim joined the show to talk to Jeff about this tropical system in the Gulf of Mexico that has the potential to develop into a category 1 hurricane.  Barry says that this storm is starting to be pulled more towards the east and that although the storm would be at most a minimal hurricane, residents in and around Baton Rouge need to be ready.  He also explains that this storm is a very slow mover which means there is a lot of potential for this storm to strengthen.
