Scott Kushner On Zion Williamson

Scott Kushner from the advocate wrote an article about how Zion Williamson being drafted by the Pelicans could potentially boost the New Orleans economy.  Brian spoke with Scott today about that very subject.  Scott talks about how a lot of leaders within the Pelicans organization are hoping that Zion will boost the economy because of the number of people that want to see him play.  Kushner says that the free exposure that the city of New Orleans will receive could help the economy grow.

Scott explains how marketable Zion Williamson will be for the NBA as a whole.  He breaks down the tv ratings for college basketball and how they were up when Zion was on television.  Kushner talks about how the first two games that Zion played in the NCAA Tournament were the most viewed games in the history of the tournament.  How much impact will Zion have on the New Orleans economy?  We’ll have to wait and see.
