Some Republicans are starting to speak out and speak loudly about Michael S Bogren, President Trump’s nominee a District Judge In Western Michigan. The reason for the blow back is that Bogren compared the Catholic Church’s beliefs on marriage to that of the Ku Klux Klan.

Bogren once argued that a Roman Catholic Farmer, who refused a same sex wedding on his farm, was acting like a Klansman would if someone wanted an hold an interracial wedding. when asked, Bogren has since stood by his statements.

Louisiana Native Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council, joined Todd Starnes to talk about this issue and share his thoughts on the topic. Perkins listed multiple ways in which he felt there were differences between the two scenarios. He also urged listeners to contact their Senators to urge them to either ask the President to withdraw the nomination or to outright vote no when the nomination comes up.

The audio of that interview is below.
