Clay Young Talks Smoke Em If You Got Em


Clay young was with Brian Haldane to talk about what the event is and who it is for.  Young explains that this is the 6th year that the event has occurred.  Smoke Em If You Got Em is a fundraiser event that supports organizations that takes care of first responders and military veterans.  This years event will benefit the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.  The event will take place at Bin 77 at Perkin’s Rowe on Sunday, May 19th.  A ticket cost 100 dollars and it gets you drinks food and cigars.  There will also be both a live and silent auction, the auction items include a Saints jersey signed by Alvin Kamara, a replica of the Saints super bowl ring, replica of LSU’s championship rings, a guitar signed by country music legend Hank Williams Jr., concert tickets for Carrie Underwood, Eric Church and Michael Buble.  You can also win a chance to train with Navy Seals!  You can buy advanced tickets at

Brian Haldane

Brian started in radio in late 2004 as a part-time board operator, but “made his bones” in the business a year later when Hurricane Katrina struck, catapulting him into a full time position covering both news and production of live broadcasts. Haldane was promoted to Program Director in 2008 and held that post until 2011 when he was recruited to help launch a new station. In 2011, Brian helped launch Talk 107.3 FM. He was the morning show co-host, and helped build the show and the station into a top 10 performer. From there, Brian has moved on to work in Inbound Marketing, where he strives to marry the worlds of traditional advertising w/ the marketing methods of tomorrow.
