The summer-long Burger Battle between me and my esteemed colleague Clarence Buggs is ON. We have each designed a burger that Celebrity Grill Chef Kerry Whitaker will serve up, with 25% of the cost going to our favorite charity. For me, that was a no-brainer: the fight against ALS, also called Lou Gehrig’s Disease. I recently spent some time talking with Paula Shamsie, the executive director of the ALS Association, Louisiana-Mississippi chapter.
