LSU, and many other universities have task forces to restrict fraternity and sorority actions to try to prevent another death like the one that befell Max Gruver; 17 die in a Florida School, and everyone talks initials: the AR-15 and the NRA; and, we have a record number of deaths from opioid drugs and 37 states are suing the manufacturers. Why, in our society today, do we not ask what part each individual played in each of these tragedies? Is it easier to blame the object or the institution for 100% of the tragedy? Are we afraid to face the “human” contributory factors. We explored this with criminal psychologist and professor, Dr. Peter Sacco.
