Post-Freeze Status Report From The Baton Rouge Water Company

Baton Rouge Water

One of the news stories emerging from the immediate aftermath of the flood of 2018 has been the number of water problems throughout South Louisiana. Water pressure has been an issue, more than 50 boil orders have been issued, and one parish has alerted their residents to stop using the water altogether.

Baton Rouge hasn’t experienced any of these problems as a result of this freeze, but to stay ahead of any potential problems, the Baton Rouge Water Company is asking residents to be proactive and check their pipes. Hays Owen, Senior Vice President for the Baton Rouge Water Company, joined Clarence to talk about how being proactive can help avoid a low pressure situation.
