Do we NEED an open container ordinance, when we blow it off so frequently?


Amid recent controversy that police are cracking down on people violating the city’s ordinance prohibiting open containers of alcoholic beverages, #AMBR hosts Kevin & Bill talk with John Delgado, a bar owner and attorney. Delgado says the ordinance is waived for festivals, concerts and other downtown events often, so why enforce it selectively?

Brian started in radio in late 2004 as a part-time board operator, but “made his bones” in the business a year later when Hurricane Katrina struck, catapulting him into a full time position covering both news and production of live broadcasts.
