Rep. John Schroder, says no to taxes on the opening day of The Session.


Rep. John Schroder (R-Covington) has announced his candidacy for State Treasurer, but, as a current legislator, he has become increasingly resistant to new taxes being imposed by The Legislature.  This morning on AM Baton Rouge, he said he’s walking into the session with a pocket full of no votes.

Brian Haldane

Brian started in radio in late 2004 as a part-time board operator, but “made his bones” in the business a year later when Hurricane Katrina struck, catapulting him into a full time position covering both news and production of live broadcasts.
