Until high school, I always brought my lunch to school. Mom would make it: A lunchmeat sandwich on white, a small bag of chips or cheetos, a Hostess package (twinkies, ding dongs, etc.) and, a good healthy apple or orange. Turns out, my mom, and all the others, weren’t quite as health conscious as the moms of today. Nutritionist Amber Stevens of PBRC is giving classes on how to pack a better school lunch… She is, of course, right; but I still miss my bologna & cheese on white and my twinkies…..
