State Treasurer Kennedy talks about the Senate race

john kennedyFilling in for Clarence Buggs last week, I had the opportunity to talk with State Treasurer and Senate candidate John Kennedy. He talks about being the front runner in the race, a few endorsements he has picked up from former Louisiana Governors, and about how to run in a field of more than 20 candidates (when seemingly everyone calls themselves an “outsider”).

If everything in the race continues the way it is going, the race will shift to a run-off between Kennedy and Foster Campbell. I asked Kennedy what that run-off would look like and where the main differences are between them. Kennedy said there are plenty of issues where they differ, but focused on jobs and job creation as the main point of differentiation.
